When the software is not available

This document describes how to determine why the software is not available. The software of CloudTesting Service is available when it satisfies the following conditions:

  1. The contract is available
  2. The software is installed
  3. The license of software is authenticated

If the software is not available, we will sure whether it satifies these conditions.

Check the contract

First, make sure whether the contract is available. The procedure is as the following:

  1. Sign in to [My Page] from [Sign In] link that appears at the top of the web site.
  2. Open [Current Licenses] page
  3. Make sure whether the status of product is [Active]

If the status of product is not active, you can purchase it from products page.

Check the Installation and Authentication

Next, make sure whether the product satisfies the following conditions on your PC:

  1. The software is installed
  2. The license of software is authenticated

Confirmation procedure depends on the type of software. Our software has the following two types.

Testing IP
Software to add a function to CloudTesting Lab, such as Algorithm IP and Analysis IP
Standalone software
Software that runs standalone, such as EDA link products and external link products

Testing IP

Check whether Testing IP is installed and its license is authenticated by the following procedure:

procedures Testing IP to verify that has been authenticated installation license, is as follows.

  1. Launch CloudTesting Lab and open the IP Manager dialog
  2. Check whether the status of Testing IP is [OK]

If the license of Testing IP is not authenticated, the status is [Not Authenticated]. If the Testing IP is not installed, the status is [Not Installed].

If the Testing IP is not available, launch CloudTesting Lab as administrator.

CloudTesting Lab install Testing IPs and authenticate licenses automatically.

standalone software

Check whether stand-alone software is installed and its license is authenticated by the following procedure:

  1. Open the Control Panel and click [Programs and Features]
  2. Check whether the software is installed
  3. Launch the software and check whether you can use the software

standalone software is installed using the installer. The installer can be downloaded from [Current Licenses] page.
